Ernest W. Roberts Jr. was born and raised here in Harrisburg, PA. He had a vision and a plan to open a barber and hair salon here in Harrisburg that would serve the best interests of the community. He envisioned a safe environment for the elderly, women, and children. He also wanted to establish an environment that made his beliefs clear and visible, one that welcomes believers and non-believers with love and a pure heart. So I Am That I Am opened on November 19th, 2007, playing only gospel and asking that there be no profanity in his place because all he wants to do is please the Lord.
